Torrone Cassata brings together two great Sicilian traditions: artisan torrone from the Madonie mountains and cassata. A soft base of almond torrone, made with sugar, honey, egg white and almonds, is covered with a thin layer of almond paste and decorated by hand with candied fruit (orange, citron and cherries).
